What is the promotion?

Fanta, Sprite and Dr Pepper have teamed up with GB mobile network operators to offer 50p free mobile credit with the purchase of every special pack until 30/09/10. You can claim credit once a day, up to a maximum of eight times per mobile number.

If you enter a code after midnight on 31/10/10 and before midnight on 30/11/10 you may still be able to try your luck in our bonus draw for the chance to win 1 of 100 additional 50p mobile credits. For more details on this part of the promotion click here.

You can enter up to eight codes in our mobile credit promotion, it doesn't matter if this is to claim credit, enter the bonus draw, or a combination of both.

You'll find a promotional code under the ringpulls on 330ml promotional cans of Fanta Orange, Fanta Orange Zero, Fanta Fruit Twist, Fanta Icy Lemon, Sprite & Dr Pepper, on the reverse of labels on 500ml promotional bottles of Fanta Orange, Fanta Orange Zero, Fanta Fruit Twist, Fanta Icy Lemon, Sprite, Sprite Zero, Dr Pepper & Dr Pepper Zero, or under the peelable tab on promotional Burger King drink cups of Fanta Orange & Sprite.

To claim your 50p mobile credit, either text your promotional 9 character code to 85888 (standard network rates apply – typically 10p to 12p) or enter your code online at www.gimmecredit.co.uk, along with your mobile number and network.

Until 30/09/10 you will be given 50p mobile phone credit for each valid promotional code entered via text or the website, up to a maximum of £4.00 (eight claims) per mobile number. After 30/09/10 valid entries will be entered into the bonus draw, providing that you have not already entered the maximum eight codes.

The mobile credit is available to all customers of the following network operators, irrespective of whether you are a Pay As You Go (PAYG) or Pay Monthly contract customer and regardless of your type of handset or price plan and tariff.

Where can I find promotional packs?

Promotional packs should be available in shops where you normally buy Fanta, Sprite, or Dr Pepper between June and October 2010, subject to availability.

Promotional Burger King drink cups will be available from Burger King restaurants when you buy a Fanta Orange or Sprite 16oz or 22oz drink between July and August 2010, subject to availability.

Why isn't there a promotional Burger King cup for Dr Pepper?

Dr Pepper is not dispensed at the Burger King counter like Fanta Orange and Sprite.

The codes contain 9 characters and are made up of both letters and numbers.

To claim your 50p mobile credit, either text your promotional 9 character code to 85888 (standard network rates apply – typically 10p to 12p) or enter your code online at www.gimmecredit.co.uk, along with your mobile number and network.

If you can't enter your code right away, detach your can ringpull or bottle label and take it with you.

How will I know if I have a promotional pack?

On each special pack created for this promotion you will see the 'Every Pack Gets 50p Mobile Credit' logo.

Is there an age restriction to enter the promotion?

This promotion is only open to consumers aged 12 years or over. Entrants aged under 16 years require permission from the bill–payer to participate.

If I enter, will I receive information from Fanta, Sprite or Dr Pepper for other promotions?

No. You will not receive any further information at all from any of the brands and this is regardless of whether you enter by text or via the website. Only basic personal information is required for online claims and is requested simply for the purpose of awarding you credit (your mobile number and network, for example).

I am not a resident of GB – can I still participate?

No. This promotion is open to consumers aged 12 years or over who are residents of Great Britain only, excluding employees and their immediate families of Coca–Cola Great Britain, Coca–Cola Enterprises Limited, Hutchison 3G UK Limited, Asda Financial Services Limited, Lebara Mobile Limited, O2 UK Limited, Orange Personal Communications Services Limited, T–Mobile (UK) Ltd, Talk Mobile Limited, Tesco Mobile Limited, Virgin Mobile Telecoms Ltd, Vodafone Limited, their agencies, or anyone else professionally connected with the promotion.

Yes, the offer is 50p mobile phone credit and this credit will not be offered in any other format.

You will be required to enter your mobile phone number when applying for credit through the website.

Do I need to be a Pay As You Go mobile customer to enter the promotion?

It is not necessary to have a Pay As You Go phone to claim mobile credit, as both Pay As You Go and Pay Monthly customers are eligible to claim mobile credit.

However, you must be a customer of the following network operators in order to apply for credit:

On the packs you say I need a Pay As You Go or Pay Monthly SIM card on major GB mobile networks, what does this mean?

To claim credit as part of the promotion your phone must have an active Pay As You Go or Pay Monthly contract SIM card on one of the GB mobile networks listed above.

Do I need access to the internet to enter the promotion?

It is not necessary for you to have internet access to enter this promotion. You can enter via text message by sending your promotional 9 character code to 85888 (standard network rates apply – typically 10p to 12p).

If you have access to the internet you can enter your code online at www.gimmecredit.co.uk, along with your mobile number and network.

How much will the text messages I send to you cost?

Text messages are charged at standard network rates, typically 10p – 12p. Charges are dependent on your network operator. You will only be charged for text messages you send.

Texts may not be included in any bundle of free texts, text package and/or talk plan – please check with your network operator.

I have an active SIM card on a participating GB network with international roaming – will I be able to enter codes while I am abroad?

We do not recommend that you try to enter codes while outside of GB. However, depending on your network and tariff, you may be able to enter if you are abroad and are roaming. Please note, text messages sent while roaming abroad are likely to incur higher charges than your standard network rate – please check with your network operator for details.

Do I need an email account to enter the promotion?

No. You can claim your free mobile credit via the website or via text, but you do not need an email address.

When can I submit codes?

You can submit codes to claim credit up until midnight on 30/09/10. Each valid code received by this time will qualify for 50p mobile credit, but claims are limited to one per mobile number, per day until you reach the limit of eight claims.

Do the codes have expiry dates?

You can enter codes until midnight on 30/09/10 to claim a maximum of 8 x 50p mobile credits.

You can enter up to eight codes in our mobile credit promotion, it doesn't matter if this is to claim credit, enter the bonus draw, or a combination of both.

However, after the bonus draw closes at midnight on 31/10/10, codes on promotional packs of Fanta, Sprite and Dr Pepper will no longer be valid and cannot be redeemed for any other promotion.

Is there a limit to how many times I can enter the promotion?

Yes there is a limit of eight applications for free mobile credit.

You are limited to the entry of eight codes per mobile number throughout the course of the mobile credit promotion, it doesn't matter if this is to claim credit, enter the bonus draw, or a combination of both.

Is there a limit to how many times I can enter each day?

Yes. You may only apply for credit/enter the bonus draw once per day per mobile number. You will need a valid code for each individual entry.

How do I know how much credit I have claimed so far?

We will remind you how much credit is still available to you after every claim. If entering online this will be confirmed on screen after you have entered a valid code and in the text message we send confirming that your credit is on its way. If you have entered by text we will confirm this by SMS only.

On your 8th application we will advise that you have reached the maximum £4.00 of mobile credit available.

What happens if I try and claim credit after I have made eight claims?

After you have made eight successful claims for credit on your mobile number, you will have reached the maximum entitlement to free mobile credit and further claims will not be processed.

If entering online you will receive an on screen confirmation confirming that you have already reached the maximum amount of £4.00 free credit each time you attempt to enter another new code.

If entering via SMS on your ninth attempt you will receive a SMS confirming that you have already reached the maximum amount of free credit. If you attempt to enter more than ten codes you will not get any further SMS responses.

How will I know that the credit has been applied to my PAYG mobile/Pay Monthly account?

If you are a customer of 3, Asda Mobile, Lebara Mobile, Orange, T–Mobile, Talkmobile, Virgin Mobile or Vodafone you will receive a text message confirming that your application for credit has been accepted. The credit will be available to use within 48 hours of the receipt of your claim.

If you are a customer of O2 or Tesco Mobile, your network operator will confirm that your application for credit has been accepted and will then send another text message within 48 hours to confirm that each application for credit has been applied to your Pay As You Go or Pay Monthly account.

When will the 50p credit be available to use?

Your Pay As You Go phone or Pay Monthly account will be credited within 48 hours of your claim. You will receive a text message confirming the above after each successful claim made online or via SMS.

What if my network operator is not listed on the promotional website?

If you cannot see your network operator listed on the gimmecredit.co.uk website, then unfortunately, your operator is not participating in the promotion and you cannot claim credit.

HOW TO CLAIM CREDIT THROUGH THE WEBSITE

Visit www.gimmecredit.co.uk and enter in your 9 character promotional code. You will be required to enter your mobile number and select your mobile network operator from a list. Entries with incomplete or invalid information will not be accepted.

How should I enter my phone number online?

Please enter your phone number in full without spaces e.g 07725569876.

How will I know if you've received my claim?

If you enter your code via the website at www.gimmecredit.co.uk you will receive confirmation of your claim on screen.

During the main promotion, once your claim has been processed you will also receive a text message confirming that your credit is on it's way.

During the bonus draw you will only receive a text confirmation if you have won 50p mobile credit.

I entered my code through the website and it has come back unrecognised or used – what do I do?

1. Ensure that you have entered the 9 character code correctly. If you have entered the code incorrectly, try again. Any codes entered with other text will not be recognised.

2. Ensure that you have not already entered the promotional code previously – you will need a valid code for each individual entry.

I entered the incorrect mobile number online, can I get the credit transferred to the correct account?

Please enter your mobile number carefully when making your claim on the website as unfortunately we cannot transfer credit to another phone number once the claim has been submitted online.

I selected the wrong operator by accident, will I still get my credit?

If you select the incorrect operator we will still be able to process your claim, however this may delay the process so please check your operator before submitting your claim online.

What does 'remember me' mean on the page where I enter my code and mobile details?

Checking this box will allow us to store your mobile number and your network on your computer so you don't have to enter the same information next time you enter. This information will be stored as a "Cookie".

With most Internet Browsers, you can erase Cookies from your computer hard drive, block all Cookies or receive a warning before a Cookie is stored. Please refer to your Browser instructions or help screen to learn more about these functions.

Please don't select 'remember me' if you are using a public computer as your details may become available to other users.

You can claim credit/enter by texting your code to 85888 (standard network rates apply – typically 10p to 12p). Alternatively you can enter codes via the website.

To enter by text, simply text in your 9 character promotional code found underneath can ringpulls, on the reverse of bottle labels or under the peelable tabs on promotional Burger King cups to 85888.

In order to apply for credit, you'll need a Pay As You Go phone or Pay Monthly contract with one of the following GB mobile networks:

Can I enter more than one code in the same text message?

No. Only one code can be entered per text message and you may only enter one code per day per mobile number.

I've applied by text, how will I know if you've received my application?

If you are a customer of 3, Asda Mobile, Lebara Mobile, Orange, T–Mobile, Talkmobile, Tesco Mobile, Virgin Mobile or Vodafone, you will receive a text message confirming that your application has been received and that the credit should be applied to your PAYG phone or Pay Monthly account within 48 hours.

If you are a customer of O2 or Tesco Mobile you will also receive another text message to confirm that each application for credit has been applied to your mobile phone account. Sending a text message is not proof of receipt of application. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any messages that are lost and delayed or which cannot be sent due to lack of network coverage, or for any other reason beyond its control.

How much will the text messages I send to you cost?

I sent in my code by text but have not yet received a confirmation message back – what do I do?

Confirmation of entry should be received by return text for all mobile customers. There may be delays in both cases due to heavy network traffic. In the meantime, keep hold of your code in the event that you need to re–submit it.

If you have not received a text confirmation, please check that you have sent your code to the correct number – 85888.

In addition if you have already made / exceeded the maximum number of 8 code entries you may not receive a confirmation message. On receipt of your 9th code we will advise that you have already claimed your maximum level of credit, but any further attempts to claim credit will not be acknowledged.

How do I claim my 50p mobile credit?

Simply purchase a special pack of Fanta, Sprite or Dr Pepper to obtain a promotional code.

You may only enter a maximum of eight valid codes per mobile number and you are only permitted on application per day.

Each valid application received by midnight on 30/09/10 will receive 50p mobile credit.

How do I know if you have received my application for credit?

If entering online you will receive an on screen confirmation and a text message confirming that your claim has been successful. If entering by text you will only receive the text message.

When is my credit applied to my PAYG mobile or Pay Monthly account?

You will receive your credit within 48 hours.

What if I don't receive my credit within 48 hours?

If you are an O2 Pay monthly contract customer billed by the Carphone Warehouse, at some times, it may take longer than 48 hours to credit your account.

If you have not received your credit within 48 hours, and you are not an O2 Pay Monthly contract customer billed by the Carphone Warehouse, please contact the free promotional helpline on 0800 988 3230. How will the free mobile credit appear on my bill?

You will see the 50p credit (and any multiple applications of this credit) on your bill under the below headings, depending on your network. It will also state the total amount of credit redeemed.

Asda Mobile and Lebara are both Pay As you Go networks only. If you are a customer of either Asda Mobile or Lebara Mobile you will not receive a bill.

Why have I been charged by my network operator when using my free credit?

Once your free credit has been applied to your PAYG phone or Pay Monthly account your network will not charge for using this credit.

Please note that until your network has applied your credit to your PAYG phone or Pay Monthly account you will be charged as normal. Please check your balance in the 48 hour period after receiving your confirmation text.

My network operator already offers me free mobile credit as part of my Pay Monthly contract – how does this offer still apply to me?

As a customer who already receives free texts and calls each month, you can still benefit from the promotion. Rather than receiving additional free credit, each 50p credit you claim will be deducted from the cost of your monthly bill.

What if I don't receive a confirmation message online?

After you have applied for your 50p phone credit, you will have an instant confirmation message on–screen to let you know that your claim has been accepted. If you do not see this, it is possible that you have incorrectly entered a code, in which case, you will see an error message alerting you to this.

What if I don't receive a confirmation text message?

If you do not receive a text message to confirm your claim for free credit, it is possible that you have incorrectly entered a code, in which case, you will receive an error message alerting you to this.

Your 50p phone credit will be with you within 48 hours of the receipt of your application.

I have not yet received my free phone credit, who should I contact?

I have lost my phone/my phone was stolen – can I transfer credit to my new phone?

If you change your mobile phone number or you are a PAYG customer, unfortunately you cannot transfer credit to your new number or phone. However, if a Pay Monthly phone is lost, your account will still be credited and available when you get a replacement SIM.

Can I claim credit using a 'dead' SIM card to reactivate it?

No. To claim credit as part of the promotion your phone must have an active Pay As You Go or Pay Monthly contract SIM card on one of the participating GB networks.

Why haven't I been credited the full 50p?

It is likely that your network operator has deducted VAT from your 50p credit. This 17.5% tax deduction is individually determined by each participating operator after the free mobile credit has been applied and is unfortunately out of our control.

Why is someone able to make more texts/calls than me with their credit?

Credit is independent and specific to each network, so the amount of text or call time you get with each 50p credit will differ from someone else who may be on a different network, using their phone off–peak or have a different tariff/call plan to you.

The 50p credit represents an overall credit amount to ensure all consumers receive equal value, however we acknowledge that this may mean there are variations in the number of texts or call time minutes available with different networks and call plans.

I have a question about my phone tariff/my contract/my mobile handset.

Which handsets are the free credit available on?

The promotion is available to all customers of the participating network operators listed on www.gimmecredit.co.uk, irrespective of the type of handset you own.

Can I have cash instead of mobile phone credit?

No. The offer is 50p mobile credit and this credit will not be offered in any other format.

Do I need internet access to claim credit?

If you enter a code after midnight on 30/09/10 and before midnight on 31/10/10 you may still be able enter a bonus draw for the chance to win 1 of 100 additional 50p mobile credits.

You can enter up to eight codes in our mobile credit promotion, it doesn't matter if this is to claim credit, enter the bonus draw, or a combination of both. However, this means if you have already made eight applications for credit before the 30/09/10 unfortunately you won't be able to enter the bonus draw.

A valid code is required for each entry into the bonus draw and entries are limited to one entry per day per mobile number.

How do I enter the bonus draw?

You can enter the bonus draw either by texting your code to 85888 (standard network rates apply – typically 10p to 12p) or online at www.gimmecredit.co.uk.

How do I know if I have been entered into the bonus draw?

If you have entered online you will receive an on screen confirmation, if entering via text you will receive a confirmation message via text.

I've already claimed credit with special packs in the main promotion, can I still enter the bonus draw?

You can enter up to eight codes in our mobile credit promotion, it doesn't matter if this is to claim credit, enter the bonus draw, or a combination of both.

For example, if you have only claimed 1x 50p credit in the main promotion, you would be able to enter 7 codes into the bonus draw.

Or if you have only claimed 4 x 50p credits in the main promotion, you would be able to enter 4 more codes into the bonus draw.

However, this means if you have already made eight applications for credit before midnight on 30/09/10 you won't be able to enter the bonus draw.

How much credit can I win in the bonus draw?

There are 100 prizes of 50p credit to be won in the bonus draw. You have a chance to win credit with every valid entry into the bonus draw.

How will I know if I've won in the bonus draw?

We will send the lucky winners a text message by 07/11/10 confirming that they have won and that their 50p credit has been applied to their PAYG phone or Pay Monthly account.

Where can I find out the names of the winners of the bonus draw?

Unfortunately as only the mobile numbers and networks of the winners will be collected, a list of the winners' names and counties will not be available for this promotion.
